The oven uses indirect heating — food doesn’t sit directly over the firebox — which produces more even results for bread and roasts, and the firebox accepts 18″ logs loaded lengthwise, meaning fewer reloads during a long cooking session.

The cooktop itself is arguably the standout: designated simmering, slow-boil, and rapid-boil zones let you slide cookware to the right temperature rather than guessing. Rated at roughly 20,800 BTU average and 81.8% efficiency, it’s built more for cooking precision than raw heat output. An optional water boiler add-on can supply domestic hot water or a single radiator. UL 1482 and ULC S627 tested, and approved for installation in Washington State — a detail worth noting since several other stoves in this collection are not.
