Step up to the La Nordica Rosa XXL cookstove and the oven tells the story: at 17.2″ wide, 16.5″ tall, and 17″ deep, it’s noticeably larger than the brand’s other Maiolica-tile cookstoves, giving bakers more room for multiple loaves or larger roasting pans in one load. The tradeoff is size — at 42.3″ wide and 518 lbs, the XXL asks for more kitchen real estate than the compact Rosa Maiolica.
Built in Italy with a Burgundy Maiolica tile exterior, the XXL produces up to 29,000 BTU/hr at 85% efficiency through a cast iron firebox and cooktop. A 150mm (5.9″) flue outlet requires the RDI-65.25 adapter for standard 6″ chimney systems — worth flagging before installation. Clearances match the rest of the Rosa family (10″ sidewall, 15″ back wall and corner), so it retrofits into spaces already planned for other La Nordica cookstoves. For homeowners who bake often and want the extra oven volume, the XXL is the more practical choice over the standard Rosa.
